AnninGlos Report 9 Dec 2013 16:35

If you bank on line. log in and check. Sounds like a scam, I bet it leads up to asking for your details. Of course you won't reply to the e mail!!!! :-)

brassic - skint!!!

RolloTheRed

RolloTheRed Report 9 Dec 2013 16:57

it is phishing

at some point any of these will happen:

a. you will be required to enter personal info / bank details
or
b. you will be telephoned and the bank will send a courier who may bring the money (bank cheque)... but will certainly try and leave with yr bank card
or
c. new variant brusque phone call that the money has gone onto yr account in error and to avoid nasty consequences ( see a, b above )

Look at the e-mail header and all will be clear or at least murky in that whoever the e-mail is from it is not from yr bank.

THEY NEVER COMMUNICATE THIS SORT OF THING BY E-MAIL !

If you can't be careful be good.
