"What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead." — Nelson Mandela.

RIP to a true hero.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and the people of South Africa - the people of South Africa have lost a great leader and the world has lost a great statesman :-(

"Death is something inevitable. When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. I believe I have made that effort and that is, therefore, why I will sleep for the eternity" - Nelson Mandela 1996.

R.I.P. Madiba <3

"Poverty is not an accident.
Like slavery and apartheid,
it is man-made and can be
removed by the actions
of human beings".

- Nelson Mandela.

So many words of wisdom uttered from a man who suffered so much.

May he Rest in Peace. x

Thanks for posting that LadyScozz - yet another tribute to Madiba, I have been following the funeral service on BBC this morning, so many tributes being paid to him during the service.
