lol Maggie,

My walks started back in 1999 when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. As this happened in October, our weather was starting to warm up, and I hate the heat.

So, decided early morning best as our heat lingers long into the night.

At one stage I started at about 5.00am, but over recent years, where even at 5.00 am in summer the temp can be in the mid 20's, I've just adjusted my start time.

Only once in all that time have I been stopped by the police to enquire if I was ok.....and it wasn't today :-D :-D
