Do you think our sense of taste changes as we grow older? If given a choice I have always preferred fish opposed to meat, savouries opposed to sweet. I now seem to be choosing the opposite. Is this usual. |

I used to work in a nursing home Paula, and remember many of the relatives would say that mum/dad never used to have a sweet tooth but now they loved sweets/biscuits/cakes. |

I agree, although some of it is from lack of opportunity. |

I used to be a chocolate fiend but, although I still like it, am not so mad about it, and don't much like chocolately things, like cake or pudding. Have a less sweet tooth now - I used to like cake and biscuits, but now only buy biccies occasionally (loads of them I'm not keen on) and only like cake if it's homemade!! |
