Joy Report 18 Sep 2013 20:25

I deleted some recently (when advised by GR it might stop the error message) but it became too time-consuming.

One of the early threads that I posted asked

I hope it wasn't a thread I was on PH...cos if it was, I wouldn't have meant it...so just in case it was I will say sorry now....but if it wasn't.....well....I am not sorry at all :-D

EDIT:-.......I didn't mean that as it may sound......I am sorry that you felt an ejit but not sorry it wasn't me who made you feel that way.......I think I will stop digging now :-D

I still have all my London CDs Lynda and used to do the same.....can you remember staying up all night trawling through the census' over and over, just to find one person.....but the joy when one found them......I don't think in those days....or maybe even now, that people realise that it doesn't always take two ticks to find an elusive ancestor.

Well ,that didn't go down too well and i was made to feel such a fool!! :-\

But, all thanks to Dizzi.........who sent me a PM and made me feel welcome, i am still here today by the skin of me teef!!

Just had a look at my HRH account and pre 2003 all there are no posts, nor pm's for 2002. If I remember correctly, I think I read that they were all deleted, everyone's that is?

From 2003, for a couple of years, most of my posts were genealogy related, I have CD's for The London census', and used to do look ups for people, as there was only the 1881 census online.

I loved doing look ups for people, was great when I found an ancestor for someone, who they had little knowledge of. The internet is great for looking for yourself, but finding something for a fellow researcher, is just as good :-D
