I am in bed with a terminal cold, it could even turn in to man flu!

Fred is out troughing (oink oink!), it is peeing down outside, the tele is crap and there is nothing much going on on here!!

That about covers my day too, except that I was going to stay in bed this morning, or at least sneak back under the duvet with a book, but next door are having their roof done, so it's bang bang and sounding like someone might drop through at any minute. :-( cough cough , sneeze sneeze, misery misery me!

I had a terminal cold once!!!! weather is ghastly here in Cardiff - freezing cold ad pouring with rain

Hope you feel better soon Sharron, whenever I get a cold I do what my gran taught me to do, I have a good old fashioned hot toddy - large whisky, juice of 1/2 half a lemon, 2 teaspoons of honey, topped up with boiling water and stirred well ;-)

Ive been waiting in all day for the gas boiler service man. He was supposed to be here between 8am-12 midday. Apparently the computer system was down so the gas men couldn't be given their time slots :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

Hot water and honey to sup might help Sharon and rub vic on your feet and then put on a pair of socks. It really does help but I don't know how :-D

Well we have been surviving with the gas fire on in the evening but today is parky and raining yet again here in Kent .

We have been holding out on the central heating trying to get to the end of the month BUT OH said today I am bloody cold !! you need to put the heating on .

Done it now. Its warm air heating and is ticking over nicely having taken the edge off the cold as now and again it kicks in

I wish I'd never ventured on to this thread - ever since I have done nothing but sneeze and my nose is running like a tap :-S

I have had a bath, head down in the steam, that always helps.

Its raining here in Northamptonshire and very cold put heating on this afternoon, rang british gas for my yearly boiler service yesterday can't fit me in till 6 Nov.

Definitely catching. On Mon night (Sun morning your time) I went down with my first cold for years. Didn't do much yesterday except rest, read, drink lots of water. Went shopping this morning but didn't spend too long in there. :-|

All this reminds me it must be time for the flu jab soon :-D

realised it's not a cold I have - I put a Febreze air freshener in my car - that's the cause of all the sneezing and runny nose :-S

I know this is a cold because I can feel my teeth, sore gums.
