As some of you know I was phoning the States when Delta airlines 'lost' my daughter.

I have just looked at my itemised bill from Sky.

Nice surprise - all my calls to the States including nephew's mobile were free.

Shock - I had to use BT's International directory enquiries (and no they didn't connect the call) the cost for 1min 22 secs was........

£7.97

I only used them because I could not find the number I needed online.

What an inflated charge

Err...how did Delta airlines lose your daughter?

Did the same thing once late at night. In a bit of a panic but unfortunately I let them connect the call as I didn't have a pen handy at the time.. Seem to remember it was heading up to £20. Never mind eh. Daughter safe and nice AA man sorted me out. There was also the nice young PC with a broom.

So it wasn't so much that your daughter got lost as the fact that the airline being late caused her to miss her connecting flight, if I've read it right. Glad she's safely where she should be now.

had a simular thing but with Cuba,,,,,,,it was scandlous nearly £30......

Always best to check what it cost first.
