Well..................I think a 6 year old would only have used the words she did to her Dad because of the influence of other adults in her life at the time. |

Aaaah Kitty himself and I both commented that a six year old would not have come up with that phrase on their own. |

The mothers we have seen have almost all been desperate, scared and heartbroken, living from the moment the child was taken from them, with a sense of deep loss and guilt....................they had no other choice. :-( :-( |

I have a very good friend and her older half sister was adopted at birth, some years later the my friends mum found daughter but the ripples it caused through the family are often untold. Firstly my friends dad wasnt happy that his wife was searching and declared it was nothing to do with him tired to get my friend on board she was torn. Also the half sisters adopted Mother didnt take to kindly neither they were out for a meal and the adopted mother stormed in to the place shouting the odds that she had brought *** up and that my friends mother had choosen to give her up. She was her daughter not hers. |

I don't think people always realise how very different adoption was years ago, and also how much hold parents had over their daughters. |

Hope they have another series. I suppose Davina and Nicky have been good enough to retain. I like the format of having 2 stories per programme. I only noticed one major change in the last programme - only one recent photo instead of customary four. |

I'm another who thought that a six year old wouldn't have quite said that remark. Think the father is very lucky his daughter has forgiven him, he must have put her mother through it musn't he? with his many affairs. |

I knew him. Although only through work. And the odd time in the bar, after work, along with other people. He was at the time, quite a character. |

I bet he was :-D he admitted he was a ladies man and it was his decision to leave the family however it very sounds to me like it was the mothers decision to use her daughter as a weapon ....I find that vile actually :-D |
