Suzanne stop crossing your fingers.

Summer won't be around much longer - I actually heard the word autumnal yesterday

Chill out!!! Chill out!!! It's 100 degrees in the Rhondda, 110 on the patio, Suzanne. To chill out I would have to travel a long way away :-D ;-)

The six weeks that the schools are out.

Loads of badly behaved screeching brats around and some of the parents leave a lot to be desired, roll on September. :-| :-|

oh John go and sit on the patio with a nice cup of tea and chill out :-D

I also live in a holiday place where we have lots of beaches and lovely countryside ,and i must admit that holiday drivers do annoy me sometimes as do people that set up picnic tables in stupid places, also they buy all the bread and milk at the supermarkets, but hey i do the same when i go on holiday so i cant complain ;-)

No answer to that then

People being annoyed when visitors want to enjoy the few moments of summer sun by parking in their layby or house or farm entrance.

Visitors will only have their fun for an hour or so a year. Those annoyed should just go back to your computer or housework and leave them alone. How uncaring some people can be.

Yes, I used to be like that when I lived at seaside. But you all know I am an uncaring b...... (bloke) :-D ;-)

They also drive around, our very narrow country lanes, looking at all the boats on the river,

or Worst ... parking in the lanes passing points to eat there sarnies .... From their picnic tables ....

And there are a blooming lots of rivers and boats here..

Living at the seaside I hate cars full of elderly people driving around the seafront at 10 mph looking at the sea and pointing at the boats.

If they want to look at the boats - park the car, sit on the bench and look at them but stop clogging the roads.

Too much rain

Journeys westwards along the coast road take forever.

London empties to the coastal resorts if the weather is fine.It can take half an hour to travel about 3 miles.

Sunshine makes people alot happier generally, so summer is good on the whole.

I hate that chemical smell from some barbecues. Fortunately the people in my area seem to manage without whatever it used to be they used to use and I just get gorgeous steak smells now. Yum. :-D
