I am half buried Persephone - some big sheep did it and ran away.

I can't even swat the wasps away now.

I am not revealing what I am wearing under the sand.

Can you get woollen cotton buds to get in all the little important places?


I suppose you have to sit there until some children come with their bucket and spade sets and make you a moat?

Last summer I was getting the mail (mailbox out the front, at the end of the driveway) when a wasp stung me.

I yelped........... and the dog next door came over... she sniffed all round the mailbox and she yelped! I had a red hand, and she had a sore nose.

Neighbour came over with an aerosol spray & a lighter, and frazzled the wasps & their nest.

I wouldn't like to try that method myself, but it worked for him.
