Mayfield you are talking MY food ..I am thinking about asking her if she will eat hash nicely worded as stovies, sadly beefsteak toms is a no no she won´t eat steak or toms.

Barry I have no doubt that you are serious as I am one of the few people I know who will eat yorkie and icecream as a pudding (can´t be doing with that artificial cream, mind I don´t eat real cream either)

I actually think I might have cracked the dilemma ! she wants to go and work with Uncle T so they feed her PIZZA

Ladyscozz I am sorry but I couldn´t cook spinach parcels for the life of me and I am not sure if I remember how to do filo pastry. Cooking pastry means having the oven on for a long time also and I don´t want to do that in this heat

Thinking about hash for just me :-D Ouch Mayfield you have just shot the diet to hell :-D

Corned beef hash, mince stuffed peppers or beefsteak tomatoes?

I've lived & survived visits from teenage nieces..... they all went through a vegetarian session, but would eat bacon! The nephews... they will eat anything, if it stands still long enough.

They all ate spinach triangles (the little ones, made with filo pastry)... I'll get the recipe if you want it.

:-D

Uzzi, I'm serious about the whipped cream on Yorkshire Pud! Honest, I am!

If your niece doesn't finish this delight soon it will go off.

Does she like bake beans?o

Here's the (almost) ultimate meal ....

bake beans in maple syrup. Just finished mine!

BTW - different topic - have just seen first episode of A Place to Call Home.
Looks like another great Oz series!
Reminds me of Wind At My Back where the Lady of the House is also i/c!

Our girls will eat pita bread when they are on a fad diet.

If we are having fish or meat for dinner I cook enough for us all then they fill the pita to their liking they will add roasted or raw peppers, salad, olives, artichokes, aubergine or what ever is going, when they feel they want carbohydrates they substitute the pita for pasta.

Ann I have to be truthful that I didn´t think of the expense when I booked her in and yes it is true we know a man who runs a dive school so discount, but even with discount it isn´t cheap but I would rather spend money on her doing things that she wants and will benefit her than blowing it at fairs and theme parks etc
I am not sure that she is the luckiest gal alive and I am not sure having me as an Aunt is a good thing, but she got lucky this time, :-D

That is lovely Uzzi that she is so lovely. I am sure she realises that she is the luckiest girl alive to have such a generous Aunty. Yes I know how expensive it is from when Grandson number three did it.

Ann niece has just done day 2 of open water scuba today, day 3 and a pass gives her, her PADI cert to dive anywhere in the world. Somebody and it hasn´t been me has told her how much a PADI course is, so of course she now feels beholden ..lol I just laughed and said we know a man who does so we get cheap deals.
But trust me after this she will never abuse our hospitality nor allow her friends. I don´t think she would anyway she is so sweet.

:-D lol 15 year old girls in a group hmm! You might spend all your time wondering where she is. Not too shy to ask though so that must be progress. I haven't spoken to her since they came home but I think my granddaughter was supposed to have been swimming with dolphins in Florida on her birthday (she is 11).

Uzzi ask her if she eats sausages. I think what she doesn't eat is meat that looks like the animal eg chicken legs etc, she may well eat sausages. How much longer is she there?

If she eats spag Bol try mince and tomato (Bol type sauce) on jacket potato (done in the microwave)

UzziAndHerDogs

UzziAndHerDogs Report 7 Aug 2013 21:33

Ann love your choices
quiche to me is ermm
sausages ..good do they come under they look like meat
omelette is brilliant as I can shove everything in it
Lasagna to be honest will heat the house too much for me to cook.

Penny I have to say I think of wraps as a lunch and as I don´t feed her during the day I want to give her a decent meal in the evening

Jax I don´t have a Mc D

Nolls thanks I will get there

Nolls from Harrogate

All I can say is Good Luck... my g/d is same age we went out for family meal recently and she didn't order a thing!!! No use making a scene as it would have spoilt the evening (17 of us) I blame her ........*** mother .... my son divorced so doesn't get much say in matter :-|

pmsl @ Errol and Barry
Barry even I couldn´t do that, well not at this time of year.
Erroll if I cooked her what I normally eat at this time of year she will starve. I live on salads and fruit for half the week with the odd bit of tuna thrown in .....(and yes this year I am losing weight ) mind after saying that I am taking her out twice a week and that is my weight gain.

Paula I have asked and she is so sweet and shy she will just say anything. She won´t even tell me when she is hungry so she has cereal and chocolate, yogurts and choc deserts in her own fridge and I have to check if it is getting low so I can replace it. Mind I did have a break through yesterday when she told me she was out of pineapple juice.
