How about a BBQ?

Ann I have to be truthful that I didn´t think of the expense when I booked her in and yes it is true we know a man who runs a dive school so discount, but even with discount it isn´t cheap but I would rather spend money on her doing things that she wants and will benefit her than blowing it at fairs and theme parks etc
I am not sure that she is the luckiest gal alive and I am not sure having me as an Aunt is a good thing, but she got lucky this time, :-D

Our girls will eat pita bread when they are on a fad diet.

If we are having fish or meat for dinner I cook enough for us all then they fill the pita to their liking they will add roasted or raw peppers, salad, olives, artichokes, aubergine or what ever is going, when they feel they want carbohydrates they substitute the pita for pasta.

Uzzi, I'm serious about the whipped cream on Yorkshire Pud! Honest, I am!

If your niece doesn't finish this delight soon it will go off.

Does she like bake beans?o

Here's the (almost) ultimate meal ....

bake beans in maple syrup. Just finished mine!

BTW - different topic - have just seen first episode of A Place to Call Home.
Looks like another great Oz series!
Reminds me of Wind At My Back where the Lady of the House is also i/c!

I've lived & survived visits from teenage nieces..... they all went through a vegetarian session, but would eat bacon! The nephews... they will eat anything, if it stands still long enough.

They all ate spinach triangles (the little ones, made with filo pastry)... I'll get the recipe if you want it.

:-D

Corned beef hash, mince stuffed peppers or beefsteak tomatoes?

UzziAndHerDogs

UzziAndHerDogs Report 9 Aug 2013 21:07

Mayfield you are talking MY food ..I am thinking about asking her if she will eat hash nicely worded as stovies, sadly beefsteak toms is a no no she won´t eat steak or toms.

Barry I have no doubt that you are serious as I am one of the few people I know who will eat yorkie and icecream as a pudding (can´t be doing with that artificial cream, mind I don´t eat real cream either)

I actually think I might have cracked the dilemma ! she wants to go and work with Uncle T so they feed her PIZZA

Ladyscozz I am sorry but I couldn´t cook spinach parcels for the life of me and I am not sure if I remember how to do filo pastry. Cooking pastry means having the oven on for a long time also and I don´t want to do that in this heat

Thinking about hash for just me :-D Ouch Mayfield you have just shot the diet to hell :-D
