Lilybids......it's quite understandable to feel down. He may have 'only' have been a neighbour, but a friend is a friend and will always be a friend.

Our thoughts are with you <3

Lily, when someone dies so suddenly especially if you have seen them earlier and they seemed ok, it's a big shock, and the fact that he was a friend as well as a neighbour is really upsetting for you. No wonder you feel so down, just treat yourself very gently and let your emotions go. You were lucky, as was he, to have a friendship and not just be people who lived next door to each other and barely spoke, as some people do these days.

Try and remember happy times and be glad he didn't suffer a long illness but went quickly and hopefully without pain.

Will be thinking about you

Lilybird...we have a neighbour with emphysema and he gets rushed off every two weeks and we know one day he will not return so I can feel your pain .

I am not looking forward to the day he goes he is such a wonderfull man ,try to think of all the good time you have had ,and be happy he did not suffer as my neighbour is at the moment.

I am sure all the lovely people on this thread will help you through this sad time <3 me inc <3
