Ha ha, GiN - that's just what I'm having - the Chardonnay left over from yesterday! Well, someone has to do it - can't have it going all vinergary can I? Such a waste ;-) :-D

Looks into the depths of the fridge.............Ah! about an inch of Chardonnay left over from yesterday. Anyone want to share? :-D :-D

I think the reporters are beginning to flounder a bit "How did it all begin......." :-S

Some rather 'off the wall' comments from people outside the hospital lolol, the baby will have a lot to live up to. Bless it.

But as a friend put in the card he sent me before son was born "Hope it's a baby!"

( a healthy and happy one). :-D

If she is still having problems, a Small Semtex tablet should do the trick. :-D It moves most things. :-D :-D

When the baby arrives thank goodness when he/she opens their eyes they will not have the Home Secretary Teresa May staring at him/her as Home secretaries used to attend royal births.

The last time was in 1936 for the birth of the Queen's cousin, Princess Alexandra, the custom was ended in 1948 ahead of the birth of Prince Charles.

yes, and after the birth and then the names, we'll have the christening to think about......and we can speculate on who all the godparents will be. It certainly is an exciting time :-D

Has anyone organised a 'baby shower' yet? If so, where's my invitation?

If Prince William's birth is anything to go by he may have a long wait before he can make that phone call - the BBC reported that when he was born Diana was in labour for nearly 16 hours.

08.06 - It is so exciting - like waiting for one of your own. Impressive that Prince William is with Kate. News just said he has an encrypted phone to call the Queen as soon as he/she is born. :-D

'twas said that she & Wills entered the hospital through a side door, spotted by a photographer (a photographer, as in, one photographer) ....tee hee, bet that was a little annoying to all the paparazzi camped out the front!! ;-)

P.S. Can you tell I've nothing else to do this morning but watch the news with the lapdog on me lap!! :-D

ButtercupFields Report 22 Jul 2013 07:59

It could be, Hayley.... :-0 ... trust you to think of that :-D
At least people still have time to run to the bookies and place those last minute bets - birth time, birth weight, girl or boy, names etc ;-)
