Hi Rollo,
I've got 3 cats. One is fluffy, so can't see how fat she is, the other 2 are shorthaired black cats. One is definitely on the 'heavy' side, the other one is extra-long, never stays still and always looks thin.
With this heat, he's beginning to be a bit of an embarrassment - he's hardly eating and looks REALLY thin. You can see his hips, but not his ribs, and his spine doesn't stick up. He's perfectly healthy, teeth okay, perky, shiny fur, shiny eyes etc, but skinny cats seem to be such a rarity nowadays, I'm expecting to be reported for cruelty soon :-|

After some ups and downs I am very pleased that junior cat is well on the road to recovery though it will be quite a while before he can go outside again. When he does he will have all four paws not three thanks to the skill of the vet.

The tip from KittytheLearnerCook was very helpful except now he is addicted to pilchards-in-oil lol.

Bless him, so pleased he is doing so well.........our aged dog cost us almost £1000 last year but the successful removal of her cancer means we still have her and that is worth more than any amount of money :-D <3

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"
