Great posts, well done. Bc - OK, but I would hope that jitterbugging is a euphemism for gentle canoodling. |

we'd think of family too, but they all live so far away, nobody could get here within an hour........... they'd probably be gathering their own booze & cream cakes. |

As there would be nothing I could do to stop it, I would gather in all our close family and proceed to cook a huge Sunday lunch, a couple G&Ts and “someone” would open the wine........... Just like today ;-) ;-) |

Well Harry, after I had hired a helicopter and ordered a crate of Champagne (with my Credit Card) and arrived in your back garden, you could read some of your poetry to me and we could jitterbug the hour away :-D :-D :-D |

A few years ago, we were asked to leave our house as a suspect package had been delivered to the immediate neighbours. Even though one of the offspring was safely elsewhere, I wanted her with us at our chosen evacuation point (down the pub!) straight away. |

Firstly I would "tell" my lovely but deceased husband that he better be there to meet me as I have no sense of direction and I do want to be with him and I don't want to end up in the wrong place. Then I would phone all my family to make sure they know how much I love them. That is if all the phone lines aren't blocked :-( |

I would tell my family how much I love them and thank them for the love and pleasure they have given me - especially my beautiful grandchildren who are the sunshine in my life. |
