	The main reason this happened is probably a broken pipe between their house and the main sewer. Our system of 'U' bends is designed to prevent this which is does in more than 99.9% of households.

	Just this minute been online booking a call-out appoinment wih Dyno Rod, then I have a wee check in on GR and find ....this topic of conversation. Wash hand basin in the bathroom is blocked and the blockage is well beyond the U-Bend ( possibly in the external pipework) I'm now more than a bit worried Thanks guys!! :-( :-(
