On Wednesday afternoon my OH made a batch of sausage rolls. The smell as they were cooking was divine.

She took them out of the oven and left them on the bench top to cool down and went off to do other things.

Ten minute later I heard a loud screech (such sounds are not uncommon in this house) and I rushed into the kitchen.

It seems that OH had seen a mouse contentedly chewing on one of the rolls. Only when my wife shrieked did the mouse scarper!

The following morning I found said mouse dead in the lounge room.

I do hope that it was the cat that killed it ;-)

I'm alive!! Thanks folks

Errol, I was in a small Wheatbelt town called Wagin yesterday and I saw a statue of a relative of yours affectionately known as the Big Ram.

Wagin is home to the Wagin Woolarama held over two days in March. This event is a major trade display with various exhibitions.

The Big Ram is situated quite close to the Council Offices and it is a BIG ram in its entirety, if you get my drift! ;-)

It is not a wether (which is not a bad spell of weather) :-0
