I am searching for the family linked to Elisha Port, who was the son of a James Port circa 1820. He migrated to Brighton in 1840 to become a master butcher. |

As civil registration didn't start until Sep 1837, you'll need to find a baptism record assuming he was baptised. Someone else might be able to find some, as I haven't been successful |
