My interest isn't just for the one religion though, others provide tat, but probably not in such an abundance.
From memory, I have an orange bag and a pip necklace from the Hare Krishnans, and a few plastic Hindu gods
Because Islam doesn't allow representation of humans, their souvenirs tend to be a bit more subtle.
Historical souvenirs are fascinating.
In Medieval times, (similar to Greek Orthodox now) they bought a representation of an ailment/where an ailment was, eg, I have a plastic arm from a Greek Orthodox church, which they take into the church. I have a facsimile of a medieval one found in Winchester.
It has been made into some thing that can be worn on a chain. I have to admit to wearing it to work once - and no-one noticed (or didn't want to notice) that it was errr ummm, well..........

I put in some artichoke plants last year because they were on sale in Aldi.

My 22yr daughter loves a bargain and buys anything at knock down prices.
She used to have a walk in wardrobe but it's now a look in wardrobe becauseof the amount of stuff it contains
On a recent clearout ( emptied and all put back in again) she unearthed a cheapo tent, and an inflatable dinghy, complete with oars!
