Thank you for all your responses.....And for confirming what I hoped. That it may give hope & incentive to others.
Yes, I will enjoy christmas this year. 2011 was a non event as you can imagine......Couldn't eat much or do much. But hey , what is one christmas to get the result I did.
Yes Shirley, I found chemo very difficult too..... best wishes to your daughter & hope she too is on the mend.

Margaret, you must be overwhelmed with your fantastic news. Maybe by posting your news it may just make someone else have the same check rather than be afraid.

May you have a wonderful life, but do not be upset if one day you just have a weep, I learnt this when I was nursing, it is simply a natural process.

Thank you for your replies... I could just sit here & cry with relief.

Picked up at an annual health review so got it early...... Just shows how important these check-ups are.
