I have not been too well over the last week and when I say not well I mean a poxy virus....am getting better now

I met a friend in the docs who has had a double masectomy , chemo and recently just going through radiotherapy.... There I am sitting in a chair moaning and groaning at what I havent been able to do this week and in walks friend , she was so brave and smiling and laughing and said all she wanted to do was hoover her hallway, giggling at the fact that she wont wear a wig and sticking to scalf as her head is itchy, literally laughing , a full belly laugh

What the hell have I got to moan about...im ashamed..... :-(

I know what you mean.

Some weeks I'll feel really sorry for myself and the things I can no longer do and have a real whinge!

I am in pain 24/7 BUT I don't have a terminal illness and realise just how lucky I am.

Hope you feel better soon <3

No matter what is wrong with you there is always someone worse off than yourself.

Lately I known I have been moaning to OH about hair loss past few months and now he has told me I have a bald spot again! Also having put on weight because I am not mobile and he says, 'buy a wig, bigger clothes and be thankful you are breathing'!

I am really but we all have a little moan now and then. ;-)

Somebody on here once said something like. Your pain is your pain, because somebody else has more pain it doesn't mean you suffer less, you just suffer differently. Mersey, I have never seen you really moan on here and when you feel poorly you are entitled to a groan or two. :-)

Island, I think we all moan and complain at some time when we are not feeling 100% its just a natural reaction. Its only when we meet someone like you did today we realise how lucky we are. Anyway I think a good old moan works wonders........
