Horrible day here today, not stopped raining all morning, not particularly cold but wet and dark.

It was a bit of a dampener for the firework displays last night too which is sad for the charities they support. Although I think the big one at gloucester docks will have gone ahead as they had a funfair there too and it was on concrete not mud.

It's been raining most of the morning, but the skies are clearing and a better day is promised.

For the first time ever, my dog was not bothered by the fireworks last night (she usually pees in fright). Her hearing is not what it used to be! :-D <3

It is tipping down here and its cold brrrrrrrrr even the cats won't go out.

Nice day here but very cold, even got a bit of sunshine, it was awful yesterday. I dont venture out unless I have to, sadly this week I have to go out every day , doctors, blue badge assesment, hair dressers, tired just thinking about it... thanks Ann re- the blog,

Knocked thick sheet of ice off the bird bath,blackbird watching as I put in fresh water....... is he going for a drink or icy plunge? :-0.... :-)

It was tipping it down here in Sussex this morning, now the Sun is shining, a nice blue sky,but blowing a hoolie off the channel from the West. :-S and B cold. :-|

Wendy, yes she is so far, yesterday there was part sun and part cloud but 28 degrees.

The sun is shining here now and it is warm here in my room in the sun, don't suppose it is warm outside though. Apparently there was 3 inches of snow in parts of Bath this morning Brrrr!!

London - cold, wet and miserable (thats just me) with some sunny spells.

My garden which is mainly paved in the middle (pocket hankerchief would make it sound large) is just a sodden mess.

Was listening to a woman on telly yesterday, the table water levels are now too high. You just cannot win with our weather.

But in the South we could still be in drought conditions next year. :-S

Hi everyone

Great big snowflakes for about an hour here this morning.then it turned to rain. and not as cold as yesterday.

Had a call from g.daughter in Bath earlier and said about 3 inches of snow. :-0

Sunshine and heavy showers here in the Medway area of Kent.

Persuaded hubby that it wasn't worth him going to get the Sunday papers cos he would get very wet, especially as he walks/shuffles so slowly. We got the papers on the way out to me taking him to Mass. After i dropped him off outside the Church i went to the Savacentre at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre to pick up his prescription and get some top up grocers. It hissed down and driving wasnt that pleasant.

We just got home from me picking him up from Church and it hissed down again .

Just been out again and the temperature has dropped...it is bleddy freezing! :-D

After having a couple of inches of the white stuff in the Valleys last night, it had mostly cleared by this morning. Driving back to the coast it poured down. Arrived home to weak sunshine, dry but COLD!!

Dry sunny day in North Wales - but perishing cold. Snow on the mountains, that fell as hail last night at sea level.
