Teddy Bear got a job a a building site.
He was given a pick and set to work.
At lunch time he went for a pie and a pint.
When he returned to the site he found his pick wasn't there.
He complained about this to the Foreman.
The Foreman replied I forgot to tell you,
Today's the day that Teddy Bears get their pick nicked.

granddaughter will be 2 tomorrow,she was terrified,but it was the loudest thunder ive ever heard.couldnt use laptop of course because no power,
when we looked outside the next morning,our garden and the field at the bottom of garden were flooded and my green house had 4 panes of glass left in it,the rain was so heavy it smashed the glass.it was mad. :-D

So, Suzanne, you obviously didn't need anyone to SAY something exciting - it all happened at your house :-D :-D

hi everyone and thanks for your posts,sorry didnt stay online after starting my thread ,but we had the most awful thunder and lightening storm last night,blew the electricity twice,first time 45mins and second time 20mins,
had our 23m old granddaughter staying over night and the thunder terrified her,she spent the rest of the night in bed with us clinging to me like a limpet.
our lab went mad with fright and it took both my sons half the night to calm him down,walking on my eye balls today,
