I went to the Pickering family history fair
To find nearly everybody their was related in some way to me
and a very kind gentleman asked for my email Addy
Whoo hoo what came through yesterday
was beyond my wildest dreams a file well over 500 pages
all connected to my grandmothers side
There's births deaths marriages wills military records
positions of their graves and numbers all the census land registers and hearth tax's

and in total maybe 10,000 peoples details on the Strickland's and their descendants

i feel blessed :-D :-D

Oh how wonderful Joy! What a great breakthrough! All I have found this week *blush blush is that my G G Grandfather was found on several occasions, to be 'drunk and disorderly and behaving in a riotous manner' in a public street'. Frankly I think he was just having a good time and probably singing..yess wellll.... :-D :-D :-D <3

Joy how wonderful, and how lovely of that gentleman to share with you.

BC My Grt Grandfather must have been a friend of your Gt Gt. He too was arrested for being drunk and disorderly. Couldn't believe that when I read it, he was the head of the most pious Baptist church attending part of my family tree.
