The main problem with all chat rooms for all of us humans is that we use more than just hearing when in conversation, we also look at facial expressions and general body language.

So an innocent remark on here, even with an LOL or smiley face can be taken totally out of context.

No one is really at fault, unless threads get abusive. It is just us humans not seeing the whole 'story'.
