Same football match on ITV and BBC and why do they need 3 and 4 pundits to rabbit on about it before, during and after the match? One would do and then perhaps we could have some decent programmes.

Just noticed that chris, & why do these " pundits " & presenters get a free all expenses jolly up for a fortnight out there at our " the license payer " expence. i'm a big speedway fan & at the abroad meetings the presenter & pundits are in a studio in London. It works & much cheaper.

But my hubby says it will be watched by millions world wide.and I,ve not to keep on moaning. Can you guess I,m not a fan. He,s shut himself off in the front room and I wont see him till half time.

I must add though I have had withdrawal symtons all day. No tennis today. lts the only sport I really enjoy. He said he didnt moan at me about it being on two channels all last week. But it was different matches doh.

Thankyou Teresa. That was my last G.Shepherd called Sheba.She loved playing football too. Every evening after tea, weather permitting. She lived until she was 15. Pretty damn good for that breed.

Would agree that it's not right to show the same match on different terestrial channels.

But Wimbledon has been on BBC1 & 2 at the same time but different matches though.

I am fed up with wall to wall sport. Thank goodness for GR for an hour tonight.

A game played with the wrong shaped ball! plus a game where women scream like banshees or grunt like they are........(I'll not describe that further).

What did I get? a couple of hours of athletics highlights (and they weren't highlights for team GB either).

OMG yes I,ll only see my sports mad hubby at meal times then. Half time my home pundit was telling me .... good game....good game...etc. Like I care.
Have spent the last hour or so on GR finding out what everyone is chatting about. My 45 postings so far are gonna go up over the next few weeks.

I was proper upset last night no casualty .because of murray mint .on bbc 1 .now its football final on both channels .Thats why i am sat sitting on my comp !.a bit uncomfortable !.dont mention olympics .hope the weather improves at least i can get in the garden then ..& tend to my begonia`s hmm x :-)

If either BBC or ITV had ignored the football and put on a newly released film - bet they may have beaten the football viewings. Not all men like football.

Mr M - not so much of anti-sport but would like an alternative apart from repeats. It is not fair.

Dont watch the women playing tennis cause cant stand the screaming. Sharapova ,omg she should be stopped. But really sad Rapha lost. Gotta hope Murray does ok though as GB is pretty rubbish at winning anything these days.
