Is lavendar best in a sunny spot?

Julia

Mersey, re your Lavender. I would put it somewhere that you go past on a regular basis, so that you can rub your hand through it, and aprreciate the perfume.

While I'm looking here's something to fit in with gardening and crochet - and for anyone who thinks crochet is to be derided, think on.

Well....it is like this. That hexegon blanket you got me started on, well, I am now at the joining together of them all, stage. So, I had to replenish some stocks to put away for a cardigan I would like to knit after the gardening season for myself, that has Pansies growing up the front. I thought if I got some of the colours for the Pansies, when I drop in there, then I can buy the main colour all in one.
But also. On that sight that you told me about, last week there was a kiddies back-pack and matching hair-band. I tried to down load it, but it appears I did not get it, and now it is not showing on the site.
I wanted to make it for my 7 year old newly aquainted grandaughter, to thank her MUM, my daughter, for looking after my little dog, at hers, whilst I had my over-extended stay in hospital for 12 days.
Please advise me about the site. LOLOL

Thanks all for letting me k now.
Normally know what things are called, but was having a mad dash around in the market, before my connecting bus was due, and of course I had yet to call on the wool stall.

Thanks Everyone, problem solved.
