If it was something on this board you are refering to, then I like others missed it.
But if you want to read some humdingers of abrupt, rude, almost aggressive put downs, then read some of the replies given by the helpers on both of the Trying to find boards.
I have read some of the replies, not to my enquiries, but others, and have felt embarrassed for them being talked to like that. Some of them are really bad.

Julia, i am glad i am not the only one who has noticed some of the comments posted on the Find Ancestors and Trying to Find boards!!

I had many "Cringe" moments last week and three new members deleted their threads after receiving in what i would call in my opinion, the most sarcastic and patronising comments from one particular researcher!!!

Yes Prickles Babes, and it is always usually the same helper. If they don't want to help people, oldies and newcombers alike, then why do it. After all, it is they who volunteer themselves for this task, not GR.
