you missed it Merlin. it was Wilson Pickett. Very long legs. Harry Belafonte would lull you to sleep. Now I must google some more to get the song Relive old memories as it were.

Oh Dear BC, sorry to read you are housebound today. Surely there is a way around this predicament. I know, why don't you give the barracks a buzz, and see if they can't send around a couple of YOUNG Hussars, for you to play with. Then we can see you on the telly tonight. LOLOL

I'm not too bad at the moment, thank you for asking. You know what it is like, hooked up the IV Morph a couple of days, and tumbling a large G & T the next. Such is my life these days.
I had a few words with young poorly Julie the other day, the one that used to have urns around her name. We both concurred that IV Morph has to be the best thing when ill.

Have tried ringing the barracks, darlin, but they keep slamming the phone down...tsk tsk....

As long as you can have brief interludes throwing back the G & Ts, Julia, it gives you a kind of normality doesnt it? Are you able to get out in your beloved garden these days? We had two stunner of days here and now back to drizzly.... :-)

Yes BC, I have been making most of the weather all weekend, gardening to my hearts delight. Unfortunately, I had to do too much, so am having a 'pottering about' day today.
How awful that they keep putting the phone down on you. That is terrible. You will have to send them an e-mail, saying you will take your favours elsewhere. Terrible, to treat a L-A-D-Y, this way.

PS. Can't drink Bailey's. All that cream gets stuck on me chest, and I can't breath. That is why I stick to clear spirits only.LOLOL
