well I picked the final three early on and although Pdsey won, which was right and proper - a real variety act - Boys Aloud will go on to great things anyway as will Charlotte and Jonathon and the Loveable Rogues - I could not believe that Charlotte was only 16!!

I bet Simon has lined some of them up already!! best night's TV for ages - how Ashleigh managed to train Pudsey to do things like that is amazing

"The Voice" in comparison is mundane and why on earth Tom decided t get mixed up in it I have no idea - and as for Jessie J, what a pain in the proverbial!!!!

Us Welsh all know Calon Lan since we were in babies class in school!!

According to one of today's rags Cowell has signed Jonathan and Charlotte..
no surprise there then !

Apparently Jonathan and Charlotte have already been signed by a manager (can't remember the name, and Simon is set on getting Pudsey taken up by Hollywood. He thinks he can be like the dog in The Artist.

I wasn't going to bother watching the television last night but once BGT started I couldn't stop.It was variety at its best, a reminder of Sunday Night at the London Palladium all those years ago. I should think the Queen will be pleased to watch a dog as the she has had to endure some tedious acts over the years

For me I enjoyed the choir singing one of my favorite hymn tunes, as Simon Cowell said, he didn't understand Welsh but still enjoyed it.I enjoyed Jonathan and Charlotte but his voice is masking his real problem. He should use this opportunity to address his demons. My thought about the the choir winning was where will they all get changed when they appear on stage in a theatre....there were quite a few.

I think a few doors will be opened for the other finalists and quite rightly so. Well done for everyone who made it a pleasurable evenings entertainment.-jl

Pudsley as lovely as he is, in my opinion isnt entertaining he was first time but the tricks are the same to different music....roll over walk on back legs run through Ashley legs or arms and balance.

I think people went for Pudsey because of Ashleigh's dedication and charm. They never failed to entertain and will make a great act for the R Variety performance.

I loved Jonathan and Charlotte, but the show has made them. I also loved Only Boys aloud and enjoyed their singing. But I do not understand Welsh although love to hear it spoken, it is a lovely language. However I felt that if they had sung something a little more recognised and with part in English, maybe a good welsh hymn, there are many, they would have won more of the vote from non welsh speaking people.

I normally give this so call show the biggest wide birth ever, I hate to see children put up for shows like this it makes me cringe, all judges have been in the business long enough to know how fickle it is and the looks of their concern when a poor child burst in to tears overwhelmed by fright , kid no one certainly not me. My daughter has taken over the TV for the past week so I have had too endure countless tasteless acts at some point, I said to her that Ashley and the dog would win and I was right, not that Ashley has obviously worked very hard training pugsly, Jonathan and Charlotte were also very good, so was the 2 young boy bands The Mend and The Rouges, but we are now talking endless hours of boring Tv and thats just this week, Britains got talent ,has it? :-D

I don't watch the programme but have been reading about it this morning.

I wish the boys had won because the money would have been used to spread the wonderful work that the founders do with young lads in one of the most deprived areas of the UK. I hope the publicity from the show will earn them some funding because it's such a wonderful thing that they do.

I expect the dancing dog was cute but wish the prize money had been divided between all the finalists.

Great final and maybe best that Ashleigh and Pudsey won so none of the others felt slighted if one singer won over another if you get me. I am sure many of the acts will go on to do great things anyway and earn mega bucks, but it's not as if Ashleigh can make a long career out of her dog act, lovely tho it is - very well done to her and the dog for their hard work.

I think the panel of judges has been better this year with David W. in, he kept Simon from being too grumpy lol

What with BGT and the Voice, what a lot of talent there is around and lots of it from very young people too. All power to them.

I picked the dog from the first time I saw it, but for me personally Boys aloud were good but I am not Welsh and had never heard that song before until the auditions, J & C again good but they should of sung something I had heard of at least...like "Just one Cornetto" :-D

*$parkling $andie* Report 12 May 2012 22:19

I would have liked the choir to have won for those young lads who sung their hearts out and put a bit of a different twist on Calon Lan ...but I'm a sucker for dogs, and did really want Ashleigh and Pudsey to win.
The Loveable Rogues I thought were great, they Charlotte and Jonathan also have it made now... Su Bo didn't win it her yr but look at her now.

Wonder if the voters have got fed up with singers and dancers winning these type of shows.

My choice would have been Jonathan & Charlotte then Ashleigh and Pudsey.
