Simmered in a pan then served on thick buttered toast or with a full English, no matter what time of day it is, big dollop of brown sauce on top. |

Especially now I cannot face a full breakfast and because of that about once every 6-8 weeks (as last night) we have it for our evening meal. OH has it about once a week, usually on a Saturday and gives me a bacon buttie instead of toast! |

Ann, not much of a fried food eater at the best of times, todays bacon and beans are really because of the OH. But, I could not face it first thing in a morning, holiday or not. |

Prickles Babes, it's how the cowboys ate their's. Thick slice of bacon in the pan first, about as thick as a bacon chop. Removed when cooked, and beans put in pan into the bacon fat. LOLOL |
