Kay????

Kay???? Report 5 Mar 2012 13:37

Did Suz remove it as it no longer applies?

Maybe GR are having another trainer trainee thread/post remover day ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

big sweep with a little broom :-D :-D :-D.

If GR remove a post that they see without it being reported then they should say so on the thread.....they have removed threads without complaint.

StrayKitten Report 5 Mar 2012 13:14

to be fair the amount of people who complained i cant see them replying to all, i know on the FB page they picked a number of names out n asked for more info,

whats important is there looking into it, :-)

AnninGlos Report 5 Mar 2012 12:59

That is more than I have Wend.

Wend

Wend Report 5 Mar 2012 12:46

I complained in no uncertain terms to GR yesterday about Suzanne's post being RR'd unnecessarily and I've just received their usual bog-standard reply.

Grrrr!

MargarettawasMargot Report 5 Mar 2012 11:55

It has disappeared-I posted on it earlier tonight, when I went to check an earlier comment that I had made on the same thread,I got a red Error message-"this thread does not exist-"and I'm thinking-"funny,it did when I posted on it about a minute ago,"and then it completely disappeared!!

And, if you're wondering,nooooo, I didn't RR it!! :-| :-| :-| :-|

Hopefully, GR can sort out this RR issue and make it fairer for everyone.

Margot.

Not before time, we've been trying to tell them for years what's going on.

Muffyxx Report 5 Mar 2012 11:42

I agree....they seem to be taking this very seriously. Which is great for Suzanne....and for the board in general x

StrayKitten

StrayKitten Report 5 Mar 2012 11:39

its nice to see GR being active and trying to sort it out, :-D

Island Report 5 Mar 2012 11:30

Teresa, I'm not sure how anyone apart from GR would know how many members had reported a post prior to the new report method and don't see why this is a problem.
One person being able to cause so much upset is ridiculous and the system really needs looking into again. eg, GR working for the subs we pay.

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 5 Mar 2012 11:20

TBH Island, when posts used to stay, and numerous people would report the same post...it was even more open to abuse...as we know multiple accounts used to be doing the reporting. At least this way, a posssibly offending post is removed until it is reviewed, then it is reinstated. ONE person only does the reporting and that is it.

Whatever reporting system is used, it will always be open to abuse by certain individuals. I personally think this way is better.

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 5 Mar 2012 11:18

lol..@ Badger and TW........bizarre....it really is !!!!

Why on EARTH would you report a thread that's just asking for information. Really?

Hey ho...

Island

Island Report 5 Mar 2012 11:17

Allowing one person to effectively remove a post by 'reporting' is ridiculous and open to abuse (and upset) as we have all noticed. The posts should stay and GR should be more on the ball and ready to look at any 'offensive' post and make a decision - preferably within a couple of hours. This would also attract complaints from the geuinely offended members so GR could gauge the 'offensiveness' better and not delete posts for whimsical reasons.

Muffyxx Report 5 Mar 2012 11:00

Gawd knows lol.

There's an ongoing discussion on the Gr FB page and the team asked for a link to Suzanne's thread so they can look into it...I was only trying to oblige !!

Have no clue what the RR was about...but hey ho..no harm done x

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 5 Mar 2012 10:59

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 5 Mar 2012 10:58

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 5 Mar 2012 10:55

Now I'd put money that whoever RR'd that won't have the guts to stand and be counted.

It's laughable, it really is.
