Last week a chap from Australia was searching for a family in Hampshire England.
I sent him a PM asking for more details in the hope that i might be able to help him.
After a few PMs, it came to light that not only did this family live in my home town but also in the same village!!

I couldn't believe it!!

A two minuet drive in the car, armed with a letter........"You don't know me but"..... i popped it through the letter box.

I just received this email.......

"Hi, I just wanted to say thank you so very very much, your assistance in helping me joined the dots, my sister now has a brother *The person i posted the letter to* whom also has 2 other siblings, we have been emailing over the last three days and plan to talk on skype sat night, both side of the family are keen to speak to each other, so your offer has proven very valuable and I could not have done this without you. From my sister and I again a huge THANKS"

Is'nt that wonderful...........and what a small world!!

Great to be able to help somebody like that PH. Coincidence that they lived in your villlage.

I thought I might be able to help somebody yesterday as I recognised a name and area but in this case they have not come back to me . Plenty of time yet I suppose but it doesn't always work out so well done.

Early last year, there was a lady in Australia looking for her daughters father. Both the mother and daughter had very unusual names but unfortunately, no information could be found about him.

Later in the year, a lady was looking for her half sister and i thought.....hang on a mo, i recognise that name.

To cut a long story short and lots of PMs, the mother and daughter knew nothing about this half sister and i was asked to act as a kind of mediator and inform the mother and daughter of her existence.

The response from both mother and daughter was overwhelming, they were so excited about the news.

They have all met up now and things are going well. Unfortunately the father past away a few years ago.

But still a happy ending. :-)
