I wonder how true are the stories by the survivors on the news that the only members of the crew to organise the evacuation of the ship were the stewards etc who were serving dinner. According to them the crew (officers etc) were first in the life boats. One said they pushed children out of the way to get there. Unfortunately the ship had only just embarked and had not had the safety measures explained. I suspect that people in a panic also don't see everything, they maybe imagined they had been abandoned. |

well the lesson for disabled people going on cruises seems to be "put a lifebelt on when embarking" and do not remove it until the cruise is over - that way you'll be safe!!! |
