Rita, I am sorry to hear of your health problem and your son's. I hope the op will be a success for him and that you may not need an op. Will be thinking of you. |

Rita, try not to worry too much about your son, if the problem has been caught in time his op will probably do the job and he will be ok. Worrying won't help your own problem which I am sorry to hear about and I hope you won't need an op but can be helped with other treatment. |

Hi Rita - 2012 not too good for starters here either!!! Son in hospital at 5:00 am Christmas morning - he is plagued with ingrowing hairs and at the moment is fighting off a perianal abscess with antibiotics!!! Daughter in law rushed in for emergency operation yesterday morning for a detached retina - waiting to hear today if all went well - she's still in hospital |

See your luck is turning Ann, hope your daughter's eye is ok and that your son's problem is soon sorted out. My o.h.'s sons both had to have ops for ingrowing hairs, I saw a chap on one of those Medical programmes where the doctors go to different cities etc (can't remember what it's called) and I think in the end he had to have treatment to remove all the body hair from the areas where it kept growing in - had electrolysis type treatment I think. |
