Julia, I've been out today and busy since getting home so have only just come on here. I hope OH is a bit better today and that they have started trying to find out what the problem is.

Sending the both of you lots of positive thoughts and hoping OH will soon be well again and at home with you.

Julia, I am sorry to hear about your OH's health problems and hope they can get things sorted as you must both be very worried. Please take care of your own health as well and I hope that you are both at home for Christmas.

Just read this, so adding my thoughts and wishes that your OH improves quickly and is home for Christmas.

Thank you all for your very kind words.
Just got back and made a cuppa and fed the dog.
They eventually gave him some Morphine for the pain, as the Paramedic that came could not get the canula in his arm.
Had various tests and a scan, before going to the SAU ward. Happily the ECG was not too bad, but they gave him a squirt of the GTS spary under the tongue. They are doing tests for Kidney Stones and the Prostrate.
I stayed as long as I could because it is a two bus journey each way, as I don't drive, and I wanted to get home before it went dark, and or, snowed.
They had realised he was my husband, because of all the times I am on that ward when I go in.
As I was leaving the nurse was just going to put him to bed, fix up a fluid line, and give more Morphine.
I will ring him tonight for a progress report.
