You will be Ok on Insurance if you have accidental cover.

Hi Dizzi, hope your ok,
couple of years ago OH slip in the kitchen and the oven door broke and when l phoned the insurance company up they said if it was a fitted oven l would have to claim of building insurance but if it was free standing cooker l could claim on contents insurance, hope you have insurance ;-)

Dizzi, it's more important that you are ok.

I'm shocked that the oven door broke so easily - could have been very nasty for you.

Is the oven covered by insurance?

poor you - a kitchen is a very unforgiving place to have a fall - fell off the top of a ladder in mine a few years back - not nice!!! a nice soak in a warm bath should help

Acidents do happen Dizzi and with your balance problems then no wonder . The main thing is you are OK even though you are a bit bruised.

Oven doors can be replaced which you cant be !!

May be the time for a new cooker !! :-D

That could have been nasty Dizzi, I hope you didn't cut yourself on the glass. Is the cooker very old? Maybe you can get new glass put in. Or maybe it will have to be a new door.

JUST HAD A FALL IN THE KITCHEN AND
SMASHED THE COOKER GLASS ON THE
OVEN DOORS ,GLASS WAS EVERYWHERE
LUCKY A FRIEND WAS HERE AND SHE HELPED MY DAUGHTER CLEAR THE GLASS UP,BUT NO OVEN NOW,,,,,,,,I'M IN TROUBLE
