I know I have only been back on the boards since Tuesday, and people's circumstances change, but where is everyone.
Yesterday, I had a look back on the boards to when I went away at the beginning of May. There was so many people, who'se names I recognised, but noticed that they do not seem to be posting now,
although I have spotted a few new ones, and it is lovely to see Hayley back. I even spotted Muffy posting at one time.
Surely, everyone cannot be on a GR extended holiday.
Would some very kind person, enlighten me, or offer their opinion.

people are busy i think & also with it being rememberance weekend .
I have been watching TV last night & this Morning
put some winter plants out in pots .as its quite mild & been tidiyng leaves away .still got flowers in the garden .Have fushia red one beautifull in bloom. buds on others , our climate is changing Barbra

It has seemed quiet for a while julia but. I had a look around the boards and I think we have boards within boards here. If you look at threads like: The Oz thread, the welsh thread, the Friendlies thread, the one by Mel entitled something like things you remember, The one by Spanish eyes, diary thread, the one by me entitled 'Has the heart gone out of the boards, and several others you will see lots of people posting in there who no longer post on the rest of the board which I do think, and have said before, is a shame. With some of the very long threads it is like a whole separate community.

I keep hoping that things will return to as theyw ere but I think we have lost that. :-) :-) <3

Well said Ann. What was once a large,friendly Group (with the occasional visitation from a passing Troll or WUM :-D) has broken up to many Groups where people feel comfortable. As a result, I feel that General has lost its liveliness and humour and if you don't fit into any of the smaller groups then there is nothing to be contributed.

There is only one thread I regularly post on and that is Daff's but apart from that I have been inundated with visitors in the last few months, so have been comparitively silent :-D

Only comparitively though BC. I saw lots of things I would have liked to comment on on one of the long threads but felt as if I was sitting at a next table in a restaurant and earwigging so didn't feel I had the right.

I have an idea. Ann, I double dare you to post on every second thread you see...lol....and I will also! :-D :-D :-D

only got half my stairs one bedroom and the bathroom to go
but today i have run out of paste
so having a rest till i go the town tomorrow for some more

Barbra, abit cold and mirky here today, but I too would like to get out and have a clear up outside. Thanks for the welcome back.
AnninGlos, I see what you mean about the other threads. If I do not click on some of them, I will not know who is still here, and who isn't, and I hope some will spread their wings, and come onto the board proper.
Buttercup, nice to see you still posting. I agree with what you say. But it does make for a quiet board, this new sort of posting, doesn't it.
Joy, you put me to shame. Although I need to 'emulsion' only, but in several places, including the kitchen, back passage and the loo, I am afraid it will have to stay till after Christmas now, and before the gardening season starts for us in March. OH busy at the moment, getting in loads of muck, and spreading it 3/4 inches thick. Then it will be dug in, in the spring. He found out the farmer, from whom he had it, feeds his cattle on ale, to sweeten the meat. You can imagine the aroma.

All in all, I think I will just have to look at some of the big threads as AnninGlos suggests, but in the meantime, hope they will post on the board in General.

Joy, why are you having to do it all yourself. However, I have been known to use some of the 'big boy's toys' myself. Don't do too much at once.LOL

So thats what its called in Derbyshire, ;-).I,ve been know for playing with "Big Boys Toys" occasionally. :-D.Have been re-doing my Pond,Had to buy some more Koi as some B steward nicked the large ones. put a new Fountain in and a more powerful pump.Plus a nice little surprise for the next So and So that tries to nick anymore :-D.could be frizzy hairdo time. :-D.its a lovely day here with the sun shining nicely. :-D :-D :-D ;-)
