I am at a point in my tree where no members of the family can help and I'm stuck! If someone is born with the name of Mabel, does anyone know of any names they maybe called instead of? I know sometimes there are different names or a name gets shortened. This particular person was known as Anita, but I can't find an Anita..only a Mabel?? |

I'm sorry I don't have much info. I'm trying to research my step father in laws side of the family with the name of Orgee. (!!) He doesnt know anything of his family at all. I thought it would be an easy name to research but I am stuck after his father and if I can get past this point I know it will be easy. His name was Albert Orgee born 1912 and his wife was an Anita Hutchings. Not sure if this was her given name. There are lots of Orgees in Worcestershire and this is where Albert was born, and I know he had 3 brothers and 3 sisters but don't know anything about them. |

I would appreciate any help, I have been talking about this with my step father in law and he seems very interested as he know nothing about his family, not even his grandparents names!! |

There is a "Harry" on the 1901 census.........but there is not a birth registered for a Harry around that time in Worcestershire...he was possibly born Henry. |
