	I just wanted to share my happy news. My granddaughter was born at 0207 this morning weighing in at 5lbs 15 oz. As her sister was stillborn 6 years ago at 37 weeks we've been on edge until she actually arrived. To say she is gorgeous is an understatement, but I am biased. I'm looking forward to having lots of cuddles with her. Chris

	Thank you Sheila, yes it does. Not only does baby have a gt gt nan on my maternal side she also has a gt gt grandad on my paternal side. I don't suppose many familes have 5 generations on both sides. Chris

	How lovely, many congratulations to all the family who must be so relieved she arrived safely. Lots of lovely girly things still in the shops now stiil before the winter wardrobe sets in , :-D

	Thank you all for your very kind replies. I always wanted a daughter and was lucky enough to have one after having my two lovely boys. Now I can really enjoy a little granddaughter too. Chris

	oh what lovely news.oh grandchildren are great,and yes you will need a large bank balance.my grandaughter was born almost a yr ago (27th aug)oh and what a joy shes been,she makes our whole family so happy. enjoy your new grandaughter and try not to spoil her.x :-D oh and we have five generations also.my nan is 97 and up to now has 2 gg grandchildren and two on the way.
