Spiritualist church regularly? pm if you'd prefer...I've fairly recently moved and one has opened locally, just been for the first time, and WILL be going again :-D

I have often wanted to go but feel a bit of a fraud because I am not a church goer.

I don't go to church either ZZzzz, and have an 'open ' mind,
though I call myself a Christian...but there was nothing that would offend anyone, and all religions and none would have felt comfortable i think. There was a real mix of people certainly...

i go to our local spiritualist church one a wk,sometimes its good, and sometimes it goes way over my head, some of the people who attend wk after wk are really strange, taking of pixies and elves and talking to jesus on a regular basis. thats a no no for me.but sometimes we have very good mediums.....i tent to stop going if it gets to strange.x

Suzanne, everyone seemed very 'normal' ( well compared to me lol) . there were two mediums, one was a bit 'waffly' though when she did 'hit' she seemed to be accurate... the other was very very detailed and fast.

Some years ago, Rose, I went to several Spirtualist meetings, but then I believed in astrology, tried the ouija board, clairvoyants, palm readers, aura readers, etc etc. All part of a searching or a need at the time, I suppose. Nowadays I just believe in the here and now and getting as much enjoyment as I can without frightening the horses XX BC. :-D :-D

Think you may get more out of it than you think! There are also healers available with the church.

I've always been interested ( runs in the family I think lol ) and read a lot but not had the time or opportunity to do more. I'm not sure that I'm 'searching' as such ( well I might be, perhaps we all are to some extent) just another area of interest :-)

Chris, several people were offering healing after the meeting, and I noticed quite a few stayed for it.

I don't go to any church if I can avoid it. I do attend for the odd christening/wedding/funeral, although not for a few years now.

I can appreciate (some) churches for the beauty of the architecture and 'decoration' for want of a better word. Sacre Coeur in Paris is beautiful. I admit to trying not to remember how the money was raised in order to build them though.*

Off topic, have you changed your profile pic because it seems slightly different?

*At the time of admiring the beauty/architecture that is.

Cat, I had a red rose, but this one is from my garden :-)

I like to visit churches when they are empty, some are very beautiful.
