	We've fixed a date for a family gathering to celebrate various wedding anniversaries, engagements and birthdays. Not easy finding a date that suits about 14 working adults, - some on shifts, but we managed a date in September near great niece's birthday. She will be 3, so we'll have lots of fun!. Gwyn

	A certain brand of cookie dough ice cream (and other flavours) is half price in a certain supermarket this week. A well known TV chef used to do thier ads! :-D Teresa

	That reminds me Merlin, we need to get our Lizzie to the vets for the same reason. She is impossible for us, but a real poppet for the vet! Pleased, the men have come to put a new handrail at the side of the garden steps. Been without one for a few weeks.

	Something to make you smile,(Well I did ) took Mustapha (Muzz the Fuzz ) our oldest cat (19 ) to the vet to have his claws cut to day.the Vet wondered why I did,nt do it,Said I did,nt think I could manage it. he told me, This is how its done, proceeded to cut the claws,which he did quite well untill Muzz decided enough was enough and attacked him.he had very long scratches on his arms,Not nice.I said well now you know why I brought him to you to get it done. Cost £18 and no lacerated arms,Vet told off by his partner for not wearing gauntlets :-D M
