LOL all I want in a phone, is a display thats big enough for me to see the lettering without me needing to find my reading glasses.........keys big enough so that I dont press two at the same time, and a ringtone loud enough to wake hades......and different to any other tone......at present its a self recording from Silverstone, when Lewis Hamilton won the race . actually it was as they came past to start the second lap........and the text message is the theme from Doctor Who......

dung de dungde dunger de dung.......etc.

Well if he has, just stand at the window and stare in until he removes it again, and start lobbying the customers

That's just made my day!

(It reminds me a little of when we were shopping in 'arrods, me, BC and Hayley, and Hayley disappeared. I phoned her and she said she was at the fish counter, but we had no idea where that was, and it was very crowded, so BC put on her little old Irish lady lost act and pleaded with the security man, fluttered her eyelashes at him and he showed us the way.

I'd like to have seen ALL the faces in the phone shop...can anyone get hold of the CCTV footage? :-D

If you have a mobile phone that is aimed at old people you are very unlikely to have it stolen from you. Nobody would covet it so there would be no point in stealing it.

I bought a teddy phone for my dad. It is aimed at young children as a safety measure. It has no screen and can only be used to make calls to pre-programmed numbers and is in the shape of a teddy bear. I think you can ring from home to listen in to where they are as well without it ringing. Nobody cool would ever want to be seen to have one so it will not be stolen.

With regards to George's post. A lot of young people don't smell too fresh either but I wouldn't want to tell them.

George_of_Westbury Report 13 Jul 2011 16:10

good for you BC, i had a similar situation a few years ago when i noticed a sign in the windscreen of a van, stating that " old people smell"

Now this was in a van that belonged to a shopfitting company, and they were working on the premises of a company i actually worked for before i retired in a capacity where i may have employed this particular shopfitters, in fact i did know the owners of the shopfitting company.

I couldnt wait to get back home to get on the phone, and advise them of this obnoxious message.

Did those operatives not realise that they were jeopardising any future work with my previous company, especially if i had reported this to my contact at the firm i had worked for.
The boss of the firm did make the driver send a letter of apology to me
