Suppose the best thing to do is put a "Nosebag" on the way they used to with horses. :-D

A new tie always attracts the soup of the day.

My o.h. eats quickly - his excuse is that he doesn't like to let his food go cold, his son is the same! He doesn't make sure food is properly on his fork I suspect, and doesn't lean forward to meet the fork so it often only makes it halfway before it falls off the fork and down his front. Potatoes, chips, meat, anything he picks up seems at risk of missing his mouth!

I used to go through loads of Ace washing stuff but can't find it, had to buy a different make last time I shopped. Hope it works as well.

If you carefully plan your daily menu then you can organize your wardrobe so than your top always matches your food.

Don't eat with your mouth full.

I was in the middle of adding to this when i got the 'essential maintenance' message. I do wish theyw ould let us know before they shut down and not after I have just typed out a post to add.

I was going to say.
I think it has a lot to do with erm.... shape. Everything lands on the balcony doesn't it. those who don't have one probably drop theirs on the floor and nobody sees!!!

standard joke with my OH about me ..it's not an age thing (been messy for years) not TV dinners I eat at a table and I do it in restuarants. More like a rather large chest gets in the way. :-D Being short also means that in restuarants they sort of sit level (on) the table :-\

I cant eat a pot noodle without dribbling down my front.

Maybe right Sharron. I think I will try that. Speed it up a bit if possible.. Mind you will have to be fast to avoid a repeat of the dunked ginger snap on the white top.

I don't know about you Jean but I stick out a long way in front so anything that flies off my fork in the hurry to cram as much in as possible stands no chance of missing.

I am sure there are those who miss every time. So you have your choice, voluptuous gorgeousness or have your dropped gravy hit the table.

I cant blame TV dinners! We eat at the dining table!. Nice to know I am not alone.

The answer for the ladies is to wear one of those wrap around pinafore overalls our grans/mothers used to wear.....now we know why!!!!

My heroes are those people who order spaghetti in a restaurant. I need to be alone and well covered to even attempt it.

I am sure they practice for hours alone at home just so as to be able to impress when they are out. I bet they don't even like spaghetti really.

My o.h. is dreadful, always dropping food down his front. I wanted to get him the Union Jack large pelican bib that bhs once sold at Christmas, I think Dawn Call had one but when I went to bhs they had sold out and never had them since.

He says it's because we eat tv dinner style as the computer is always on the dining table in the kitchen/diner but he has tried a tray on his lap and a tv table, which he now favours, he still manages to mess up a shirt when we eat out at a proper table!

Fortunately my OH is just as bad as me. We make a right pair when we have eaten spag bol. And yes, it is probably not sitting at a table that does it. I actually did quite well tonight just one teent tiny spot on my T shirt and that was from a full roast dinner with gravy.

In the winter when I spend more time in pj's and dressing gown, the front of my dressing gown is more like a menu within a few days.

I wear my glasses on a string and I am forever finding food on them. I think its an age thing. I just remembered that when I was younger and my grandmother and grandpa came for dinner we always made sure they had spegetti bol as it was fun to watch them eat that.
