Things not to do,1.Do,nt use dispay Napkins at table (Only the Cheap Paper ones) 2.under no circumstances sit on the display Cushions.3 That applies to towels etc in bath or shower room also to posh shower gel and soaps. use your own.and clean up as you go. ( Thats in Hayleys Abode ) :-S. as for the other points.1the letter/text /Email should never have been sent,or distributed worldwide let alone to the press,(It should have been sorted in private.)The remarks from both parties and their families did not help matters.(The press had and are still having a field day) Now running for cover from Hayley as she will no doubt clobber me with one of her(Display) pickaxe handles.**M**.PMSL. :-D ;-) :-S |

Unfortunately there appear to be faults on both sides but at least the D-I-L is young and has time on her side to learn. |

Frank re the wedding costs. I believe the young couple are paying for themselves (as we did when my parents couldn't afford to pay). And the reason the bride's parents can't pay is that they have both just been made redundant. |

Sounds to me more that the young man's stepmother is the one with issues. Resenting the visit to her home by her stepson and fiancee in the first place. |

Is there a name for the mother or father of a son-in-law or daughter-in-law? |

Haven't read all the thread yet..but my opinion, for what it's worth, is that the step MIL has come across as a thoroughly nasty piece of work. |
