Most days when I visit Chat or General the boards appear empty, not very many members around,no-one to chat to .....where is everyone?

Then I remember I'm 'standing in the great hall' and if I open one of the many doors, there you all are!.....chatting away to each other on every topic under the sun.

No wonder it sometimes looks like there's nobody home! lololol

Mau XX :O))

Oh how I agree with your Mau, but I am mostly to be found in the greenhouse at this time of year. Wouldn't want everyone trying to get in there. Such a tight fit, some of us would have to get married, tra la,tra la,He he.
Off for a well earned cuppa now.

Island Report 1 Apr 2011 17:11

Yes, it's very bleak sometimes Mau.

Where are the banter threads?

I don't want to discuss the minutiae of my life - that would soon clear the boards LOL
I can't be the only one who just wants a laugh now and then.

Maybe things will perk up now the Lady of Shallot is back LOL

BC ~~~~ Surely a lady of the medical proffession would be more au fait with Calmer Suttures?

ButtercupFields Report 1 Apr 2011 17:22

I am just brushing up on er....procedures, Island. One can never learn enough in life,I find:-) *peels pomegranate with scalpel.....

And I so agree with you, I used to come on here for a banter...*trails off....but since Hayley left, nobody has time for an old lady....*sobs on Mau's shoulder pads......

Well BC, I thought at the time of the disapearance of our dearest Hayley, that we should have had a protest. I could have knitted us all sweaters with 'Bring Back The Cheshire One'.
Island, how is she all medical.??? Does she lance bunions and boils or summat.
Tis' true there is no crack on the boards at the mo. So there isnt. (Touch of the lucious Jim MacDonald) there.

A deliberate ploy, dear Prickles, a deliberate ploy to catch the eye of a fine Grenadier buck who may be passing by on his white charger...it works every time:-) lol BC XX.

After a visit to the local whorehouse, a man noticed a collection of green nodules on his manhood, so he decides to see a doctor.
The doctor takes one look and says, "Hmm, this is serious!"
"What is it Doc.?" asks the man, now decidedly worried.
"Well!", says the doctor, "You know how wrestlers get cauliflower ears?"
"Yes!", says the man.
"Well!", says the doctor, "You've got brothel sprouts!"
