Has anyone seen Psychic Sally on stage? Me and my daughter are going to see her at Margate next Saturday. I have watched her on Sky TV where the programmes are obviously editied. I wonder if all my recent research into our long-dead ancestors will have stirred them up a bit and we might get a 'hit'! Having said that, she only seems to get messages from the recently dead. I will post again with my analysis after we have been to see her, but I think it should just be regarded as fun and entertainment. What do you good people think?

PS I edit our church magazine and the vicar will not allow any mention of clairvoyance evenings at our local pub, or Ann Summers parties for that matter!

tut tut.
can you get anything for 21 quid though Prickles?

Hi Edward,
I'm dubious about 'clairvoyents'.
Don't give them any clues to work on.
Everyone has an Auntie Mary and there's a good chance that anyone of a 'certain age' has lost someone recently.

The fun bit is working out how they put together information for you. Everyone gives out clues without even realising.

Just have a good evening out Edward... listen with intelligent rationality, an open mind and a healthy dose of scepticism.

It is no more a 'waste of money' if you enjoy yourselves going to watch a medium for an evening ...than it would be to spend the evening down the pub downing beer (or spirits of a different sort lol)...and you are less likely to end up with a headache ;)

Let us know what you think after?

I don't normally believe in things like this but......

I know someone who actually knows her & her family very well & after talking to them & watching the show i have really changed my mind.

I liked Derek Acorah from his TV shows. A couple of years ago he was in Folkestone so I booked for my daughter and I to see him . He was rubbish ! very contrived and got so much wrong , he seemed to be just doing a showman act rather than anything else.
Now we got tickets to a Colin Fry recording in London and he was great, He went on for over an hour although the shows are edited down . We even got the start of a reading but daughter was shy and didnt respond too well so he went elsewhere in the audience, Must admit too I was too conscious of the cameras to speak up and verify what she didnt know. could have kicked myself later

Someone close in the family went to see Sally at Llandudno recently and she promised to contact her again after the show ended but is still waiting. Awful for her as she had been told by Sally that her daughter who died tragically last year was waiting to speak to her and she had messages from her. Why build someone up in order for them to be let down in such a way?

You should talk with your vicar. He's right. You should be careful

Hi Edward - I have been to see Sally twice at Broxbourne Town Hall.....Although I didn't get a message, she was very good.....and the people who received messages were well pleased with them. And to be honest, I went to see if she was as good as she was on tv, and she was. You can also queue up to meet her afterwards, were she will sign books or tickets., and she is a lovely friendly lady.

Good luck, I hope you receive a message.

The advice from Rambling Rose is very good-just go with an open mind.
If nothing else,it's a good night's entertainment! I'll be interested to know how you find her.

I'd sign books and be friendly to anyone for a few minutes at 21 quid a pop! That's showbiz!

I've watched her on telly, and think she's great.
I would love to see her, but not much chance of her coming up to Bonnie Scotland lol

Hope you both enjoy it.

I am of the same opinion as Shirley. I went to see Derek Acorah and he was rubbish, whereas Colin Fry was fantastic.

I also went to see Sally last month and I have to say what let down it was. Obviously the TV programmes are very well edited. She was doing more fishing than Captain Birds Eye.

I have been a Spiritualist for 41 years and I must say that I have often seen far better mediums in church than on stage.

Hi TheLeithLassie, Sally has got 4 dates in Scotland this year, see http://www.sallymorgan.tv/?page_id=61, but I don't know if they are convenient for you.

Hi everyone else, thank you for your posts, we are going to see Sally next Saturday at Margate so I will post again on Sunday with our impressions.
