Thinking about getting one that will fit under my sink. The slimline one will fit without pulling out some of my cupboards.
I dont know anything about them. Apart from ..I should have got years ago when I put the kitchen in lol.

I know what to look for with washing machines..spin spead temps etc

Havent a clue about dishwashers

My dishwashers left home years ago, now thinking it would give us more time to sit an blether when my 'dishwashers' visit lol

Get a one with a variable thurst impeller sprocket and a decarbonising filter on the inlet dispersion valve. By far the best.

I think Indesit is a good make and I would go for one that easy to use ....not with a load of fancy buttons that you havent a clue what they are for,

Thanks Hayley I'll have a look at that. dont need a fancy one ,long as it does the job.
The reason I didnt get one before was I got put off them,as my MIL's wasnt very good, cups were all stained etc. That was 30 yrs ago and i know theres better on the market and the tablets/powder etc.

they still ruin glasses.

All cloudy? I've seen that. I could drink my wine out of a mug lol

Giving the kitchen a bit of a face lift, new sink work tops etc, thought now is the time.

oh marion dont put glasses in,they will be all coudy and squeeky,horrible.......

they are ok for skinning new spus though,,

Marion, I went to New Zealand last year and, in an apartment we stayed in, there was a half-size dishwasher fitted UNDER the oven. We couldn't believe it and kept peeking at it! And it worked brilliantly. Haven't seen them here yet!

Also look for how much water they use per wash, mine also has a half wash which will either wash the top or bottom shelf. Also well worth paying for extra warranty if you can get it.

I do wash glasses in my dishwasher and they come out perfectly, no spots or stains, never had a problem.

It is also best if cleaned once a month. I use a cup of white vinegar or cleaning vinegar and just run a cycle with the dishwasher empty. Also clean filters, it is easy to do.
