Thanks so much for the kind messages xx

hello i saw a doctor from my practice today i was really lucky to be able to spend 30 minutes with him

He said my gp is also a good neurologist (so whats she doing working as a gp ) !!! nightingale out neurosurgeon will not commit to me having MS as i have a complex history and he dont think him telling me i have would have a positive affect on me , but i do have scarring especially on the right hand sight sight of my brain which is causing numbness and tingling and burning on the left side of my body? im confused, however he dod explain that.
There is a bright reflection from the myelin which means its ok, however he is quite happy for my gp to treat my symptoms, i have been given another appointment for next monday to see her.
The fibromyalgia pain is chronic and wide spread hence being in so much pain where even morphine may only take the edge off and osteo is extremley painfull too he mentioned bone on bone exray wednesday at 9am, he is refering me for councelling as although he feels im not depressed he feels im not accepting that i have to change my way off life, i felt so much better when i came out of there , he dont want to change my meds he feels its my own gps place but he has withdrawn citalopram and added duloxitine , i do feel a lot happier and i am going to ask for a copy of the reports too cant get over how much better i feel thanks again for your wonderdull support puss xxxxx

Pleased to see how helpful the Dr was, good to know that you were not rushed and he seems to have made sure that you understood things. Glad you feel better for it too. Counselling will probably advise you on the changes you need to make to your life style. They wont necessarily be bad changes, just to make life easier.

Hiya Hun,
so glad you seem to be feeling brighter after seeing the Dr today. I had a busy weekend and although I saw your thread yesterday, I just didn't have the energy to come and sit at the computer.

Hope that all the seedlings are doing ok and haven't been damaged too much by the rain.

Take care Hun.
love
Helen
